How do I download my GPX file?

It really couldn't be simpler to download a GPX file of your chosen run or ride for your RaceInk Print.  We have put together these instructions to help you.  These are based on using Strava, but you can download a GPX from any GPS tracking device in a similar way.  If you are at all unsure how to go about this, please do not hesitate to email us: Scott@raceink.co.uk  and we will happily help you out.

1) Log into the Strava account. It must be the account of the rider or runner who recorded the activity, and it's easier on a laptop/desktop.

2) Go to your chosen ride or run activity.

3a) On the left hand side, click on the '...' (actions) tab. This will bring up a list of actions.  Click on 'Export GPX'.

3b) Alternatively, in the route map window you will see a small button to export the GPX.

5) Your ride or run will now be automatically downloaded.

6) Save the file, (or locate it in your download folder) and then you are ready to upload it when you add your print to the shopping basket for your personalised RaceInk order.

I cant access the rider's/runner's account. What do I do?

If the print is a gift for someone else, you may not be able to access their Strava account from which to download the GPX file. It's ok, we've got you covered! In the comments box on the order put a link to the Strava athlete activity and we can get most of the data from there - it'll look something like this www.strava.com/activities/3424171153.  Unfortunately, the only problem that we will encounter is if the athlete has a private Strava account.  If this is the case, we cannot produce the print and without access, the only option is to select a gift voucher so that the person in question can organise for their personalised print themselves.
